Clean Works provides fast, waterless decontamination for shell eggs, reducing microbial contamination on the external surface without washing, heat, or added moisture.
Treatment can be added to existing egg handling lines, so eggs are treated as they move through grading and packing.

Pathogens such as Salmonella can be carried on the outside of the shell. Clean Works' gas-phase treatment surrounds each egg as it rolls through the treatment chamber, reaching the whole shell surface without wetting it.

Eggs travel on a roller conveyor through an enclosed Clean Works treatment chamber and continue to the next stage of handling, adding microbial control without a separate processing step.
